We sure do love polls in this country (and im not talking about the ones strippers use).

New Poll Is Bad News for Obama

So I was reading some new articles, both on AOL news, and Politics Daily, and I came across more information on our President, and how the country feels about it.  And, as usual, we come across this information and the "word of the people" by conducting 'polls'.  We love using these things in this country.
I remember when I worked at a teleconferencing firm where we gathered a bunch of speakers and listeners via phone so they can discuss their thoughts, products, marketing strategies, etc. and at the end of many of these conference calls, they always wanted a f*cking poll.  Now, being behind the scenes in this thing, I noticed something.  First of all, about 90 percent of the participants I contacted to join these meetings by phone were in their homes (eating, watching TV, jacking off, etc.) but at the end of these conference calls, they always made time to press those last few buttons and make serious decisions 'via phone'.  Oh, by the way, did I mention that all of these participants always got free sh*t for doing this crap.
Which brings me back the point at hand here...........Polls.........I don't know about you, but nobody has 'polled' me on any of this stuff going on.  And if they did, what would it really mean.  Its like being back in school, or at a work training.  They love having us fill out information and express our oh so important opinions on paper so they can evaluate them........ Has anyone noticed that no matter what anyone writes on those damn things, nothing ever really changes.  Its not like they are going to fire any of their teachers, trainers, etc., because Joe Schmoe was "polled' and gave the person an "F" grade.
So what are we really doing here.  Are we seriously going to make such important decisions and evaluations of the President of the United States based on something that about 1 millionth of a percentage of people say on paper, and based on their race, demographics, income, etc., they represent millions who never had a chance to speak and it becomes, "the word of the people"?
Enough with the God Damn polls, we only have a small percent of our country actually voting every four years anyway.  These ridiculous 'polls' will never really lead to CHANGE.  What comes of polls are defense tactics by the ones who scored low, and political answers for how they will be improved, or just an outright denial of it being legit and saying that it was conducted by a group with an agenda..................
