Remember when "unfortunate" and "down on their luck" people were said to be riddled with addictions to drugs and alcohol? Well................ It's 2010 !!! Time for some new age addictions to talk about. How about sex? This has to be the greatest (a guy had to have thought of this by the way) "addiction" of all time. It is now considered an addiction problem for people who want to have.............sex.............with other people...........hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I swear i just started hearing about this a couple of years ago. Then, all of a sudden, it blew up like the latest fashion craze. Everyone has to have it..... (especially if you are famous and got caught with some stripper/hooker/whatever) The latest genius to jump on this bandwagon is Tiger Woods. I say genius because I feel this is the best decision he could have possibly made here...Think about it. The world just found out that he has been cheating on his wife. And he is perceived to be the ideal family man....etc., etc. He has already lost millions. Sooooooooo, what to do, what to do? Oh wait..... I know...... I will say I have a "sex addiction"......... I will get help for my addiction....... Maybe donate a bunch of money to this horrible addiction to help others..... And hope to god that somebody believes this sh*t and gives me another chance to go back to making my millions on and off the courses.
What will we think of next? Maybe the next time you get caught stealing something at work, you should say that you have an addiction to stealing and just need help for it.................oh wait.............i think they actually have a term for that as an addiction as well........ Maybe the next time your longtime girlfriend/boyfriend forces you to choose whether to get married or break up, you should stall by saying that you have a serious commitment phobia based on a rough childhood................oh wait........... I think they do have research on that too.............We love doing research on sh*t like this and making it an addiction, diagnosis and phobia....... Oh well, nice work Tiger. I wish you well in your hard fighting battle that I know you will have to kick that horrible habit of wanting to have sex with women. I'm sure everyone in the sports world will be waiting to support you again. (as long as you have a Dr.'s note saying you are cured from such a horrible disease)
