Mathews' racial remark about Obama under fire for good reason
Why can't we ever get over the racial thing? Don't we have enough problems in this world dealing with natural disasters, employment, finances and dealing with our own damn emotions?
So I read the articles and saw the video of the moron Chris Mathews saying that he didn't notice that Obama was black for an hour while watching the state of the union address. After seeing this, I thought of two different things. Number one, anyone working in this forum of media really has no clue how to think or speak outside of what is written on a teleprompter. Number two, I thought of the fact that knowone will ever get over the fact that our President has darker skin then a high percentage of the population. Think about it, we spent the last 8 previous years going through a nightmare under the Bush administration. Now here we are, only one year into the enormous recovery effort that is underway, and all anyone (white people) has to say is that Obama is arrogant and has not shown enough changes for the better for our country.
Well, you know what, as a 'white guy' myself, I have to say that I don't give a sh*t what color my President is. I don't care what anyone's color is. If your nice to me, I'm nice you. If you act like an idiot, I will call you an idiot. If you speak properly, I will say that you sound 'educated' not 'white'. You know why?????? Because we are all the god damn same !!! We are all human. We are fat, skinny, tall, short, light-skinned, dark-skinned, smart and stupid.
Anyway, bottom line is that old white guys in the media will always have something smarta$$ to say when it comes our President. But you know what, I always find it interesting when something like the natural disaster in Haiti occurs, and these same morons talk so much (reading a teleprompter) about how sad they are, how much they care, and so much about how we should help our fellow man. Interesting...........I never seem to hear any comments about any Haitian people being interviewed sounding 'white'. And I never heard Chris Mathews make a comment about him not noticing that they were black for an hour while they were crying and talking about their dead loved ones and their need for a new home...............hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
