    How many of you live in the following places:  Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta.  (there are more to choose
from, but you will get the point of the question soon enough..............


    So I was suffering through another 65 minute drive on the freeways today, and I couldn't help but notice the empty lane next to me on the far left.  Hmmmmmm, why is it so empty.  Oh, that's right, its the lane for cars that have at least two people inside of it.  But guess what? Its empty because knowone is fucking 'carpooling' !!!  
    Ok, Ok, I know, and I get it.  The whole point of the god damn lane was created to promote the idea of co-workers going to work together so that there can be less cars on the road, less whatever shit comes out of our cars polluting the air, and better chance of getting to where you need to get to in a reasonable amount of time.  But here is the thing.  Has anyone noticed that it is now 2010, and this concept has still seemingly not been very effective?   



    Maybe we just live in a society that is too selfish, self-serving, and controlling for such a concept.  (I base this solely on people like my dad, who carpooled with his buddies in law enforcement, and absolutely hated with a passion 3 out of the 4 days when he had to be a dreaded passenger of the car.
    Maybe the times have just changed in a way that nobody really works 9-5 and stays in one location for work.  (Including myself, who has the pleasure of driving everyfuckingwhere around Los Angeles County each and every day 5 days a week)   
    Well, anyway, all I feel is this............In my warped brain, we need to do one of two things here............Either forget about the stupid concept all together, or let us open up the freakin emergency lane during rush hour (which is pointless in Los Angeles because its always fucking rush hour).........Here me out here.............Picture yourself driving on the freeway right now...........ok, what do you see........you see the emergency lane............you know what else you see............another god damn empty stretch of pavement......I don't know about you, but I think i might see one car broke down per month along this stretch of road which can go in some areas for miles and miles..........So let us use it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One last thing..............Don't even get me started with the idea of 'toll plazas'............(never mind.....here goes the A.D.D. again.........) Who convinced us all that it made sense to actually charge people money to drive along a road?  And, anyway, what have we accomplished........The first thing that happened was that other roads running parallel to it become overwhelmed with traffic, causing more chaos.........Then the people paying the money found themselves at a complete stop time after time as others in front of them rummaged through their pockets or whatever to pay the toll person.............so then they decided to start firing toll people...first by simply using machines, and then by creating the oh so wonderful "speed pass"......  I don't know, maybe its just me, but I think we can't win either way...........

I need to figure out how the hell to work from home.................somebody help me................I'm begging you...............support me......support my blogs..............and click on the google ads and see what they have to say..............It doesn't cost you anything...........
