US Mother Ships Adopted Boy, 7, Back to Russia
So when did kids comes become a pair of shoes that you can return after a trial period?
I understand that we as a people have a tendancy to lose interest in things very easily, but have we really gotten to a place where we take this thought process into consideration even when it comes to innocent children.
Apparently, some single American woman, who was probably lonely and not satisfied with her life, decided to adopt a child from Russia. Then, after forming an opinion that the kid has a lot of mental problems that she does not want to deal with, she decided to return to sender like some kind of discarded piece of mail. She actually had the balls to buy him a plane ticket one way back to Russia, give him some cookies and a coloring pen, and leave him a wrote stating that she no longer wants him. What the hell is wrong with this country.
First of all, why choose a kid from a country thousands of miles away. Second of all, why complain about some outside country and its orphanage staff not telling you the truth, the whole truth, and nothing buy the truth about the kid and his possible special needs? This moron wasn't buying a used car, she was taking the ultimate responsibility of caring for another human being. She should have done her own god damn research and maybe spent some time with the kid or something. This poor child is not some puppy that you can pick out based on his picture and stamp of approval from the employees.
