Life is a stage...and I have been in the background for way too long.

And so comes and goes another Sunday night.  Time to complain about how fast the weekend went.  Time to worry about all the things that have to get done during the coming work week.  And so goes another point in time for which we ponder what it is we could have done differently.  Not just different over the weekend, but different in the moment.
It's the moments that are so precious (Can't you tell from all the fucking commercials, hallmark cards and love songs?).  These moments are what shape us.  So I ask you...How many of these moments have been spent worrying, complaining, whining, and thinking about what else could have been accomplished.  Only in Los Angeles do I see how important it is to live in the moment...Live for the future...and live for what could possibly be on any given day.
It starts with the corny stuff, of course.  Why spend too much time staring at your phone or the bottom of a bottle of beer, when you might be missing that celebrity walking on by right in front of you.  And why go to bed at 10pm, when you could be out until 11pm and meet your future wife, husband, or business partner who will give you a lifetime of happiness and riches.
So goes the days of our lives, one moment at a time.  And they go oh so fast.  It's new years...Its fall...its spring...its summer... its the holidays...and its new years again...Where has the time gone?  What have we acocmplished during this time?  And what could we have changed?
Every day brings new opportunity, no matter how grim the economy, weather or outlook you may currently have.  It's not over till its over.  And when its over, you will be dead anyway, so there is no worry about feeling regrets.  Just try your best to live life the way you want it to be.
And don't forget to live life in the forefront, out in the open, and with a thought of self confidence and high self esteem.  Anyone can hide in the background, and since many of us already know (all too well) what its like to live in the background, why not try living how you perceive others to be living?  You don't have to be rich and famous to live a good life. You just have to be willing to live.
