Watched my Celtics lose tonight, and thought of something. Who cares?
So I just watched my beloved Celtics lose the championship, and then it dawned on me. I don't really care. My initial thought was that I wanted to either watch some shows on my DVR, or watch my latest Netflix movie. Well, I am now going with option 3: to write a blog about how I shouldn't really care.
So let's start with one big thing first. The riots are already starting in my new hometown in the streets. Why? I'm now watching the news and seeing cops on horses and tons of others on foot, watching thousands of fans trash the streets and anything around it they could find. Why?
It reminds me of an old Kris Rock joke about the OJ trial aftermath. With a saying that goes something like this "So, OJ goes free......we win !!!!.....what the fuck did we win......I check my mailbox every day.......i don't see anything.........?
Ok.....well I'm feeling the same way right now. The Los Angeles Lakers win !!!! I live in the Los Angeles area !!!! Hey, guess what ? tomorrow, im gonna get up, eat breakfast, watch team USA play soccer, and then go to work like everybody else (well, i can't really say everybody else, because millions of Americans out there are unemployed. But its ok.............Because the Lakers WON !!!!!)
Damn, I'm ashamed of myself for even spending the 2 and a half hours a day for the 7 days the games were played. Im sure my friend Corey is ashamed of me as well for even following sports to begin with. Sorry Bro................Is it football season yet? When is my next trip to VEGAS...Whatever, I'm tired....Time to watch some meaningless TV shows and go to bed.............And I wonder why I'm not rich by now.....Fuckin sports.........
