Its amazing how often things change, yet forever stay the same.
Sometimes, I feel like the more I grow as a person, the more I feel like I haven't grown at all.
Its like the world is one big cycle of events, and it goes around and around and around and around, and we always seems to be right back where we started. without having learned anything new.
However, I think the one thing I truly can say I have learned is overall knowledge...knowledge in the form of an advanced education. It makes me think of an old George Carlin routine he did about the existence of GOD. The basic premise of course is centered around the fact that he felt is was silly to believe in something you can't see, so he decided that he was going to worship the SUN, because he could see the sun, he could feel the sun, and he could live life knowing what he feels that the sun is providing us on a daily basis.
What I am trying to get at is this.............I know that I have learned the alphabet because I can still recite it at will. I know how to add and subtract because I could sit down and write on a piece of paper, or stand at a counter of a store and figure out in my head how much I owe or how much change I should be getting back.
But, when it comes to how I live life, how I perceive life to be, and how I perceive myself and my self worth in this life, I feel like I have learned nothing, and I am right back where I started. And I feel as thought many of us in society are feeling the same way.
I feel this way because every time on turn on the television, or listen to my man Howard Stern on the radio, I hear about the same bullshit drama, tragedy, celebrity filth news, and financial crisis information in the country that seems to have been going on since the day I was born, and I can't figure out why we are not really fully evolving as a people.
Hell, I just saw a few minutes of some silly show on the cartoon network (yeah, my woman watches cartoons still) about a bunch of people on some kind of island or something.............Anyway, point is that the cartoon characters are always the same.........Big black woman with a funny name, skater looking white 'dude' who says 'bro', cheerleader who worries about her self image, and the jock who thinks he is hot stuff...........Has anything really changed?
Even in 2010, Mel Gibson is yelling out racial slurs, Jesse Jackson is defending the entire black race (whether they want him to or not), the politicians are out there campaigning and supporting whoever and whatever company is giving them the most money in the form of "donations" to their party, and we continue to be controlled as a whole in this country by a select few who hold all the wealth.
Meanwhile, what seems to be lacking and diminishing in this country is the basics...............meaning.............our educational system, health care, and our social services budgets. Schools are firing teachers, medical insurance companies continue to raise their fees and hire more 'smart' people to find ways to make you pay full price for your medical care, and each state little by little is finding ways to cut off adult services, mental health services, and close down group homes and other forms of shelter for those who need them. What the hell our we doing?
All the while, there is the same talk of being in a recession, returning to the days of a recession, and even religious people are out in full force talking about the end of days...............you know how they all relate to one another?????? Because they have all happened BEFORE !!!!!!!!!!! Different time, different era, different people, same BULLSHIT.
Im now thinking of Andrew Dice Clay in his routine about knowing when you are at a Kenny G concert.............because its when some security guard comes over to you at your seat and says, "hey buddy, wake the fuck up"...................Well, that's what I want to say to all of us out there.........................Wake the fuck up !!!!!!!!!!!!
What do ya think a that?
I can see that you are an expert in this field! I am launching a website soon, and this information is very useful for me. Thanks for all your help and wishing you all the success in your business.

I do have to confess that I appreciate reading through your blog, even when I don't agree with you. I guess the main thing is to make persons think. 1 of these days I will get around to beginning a blog. It will probably be a lot more for blowing off steam and less informative than yours is though. Maintain writing and I will maintain reading.
