So my birthday just passed...Where the hell have the years gone?

So, a funny thing happened during my hell week of work and moving into my new apartment...I had a birthday. And no, It wasnt my 21st, 25th, 30th, or any other number that sounds important or meaningful.  So what happened was that it almost became just another day.
Thankfully, I weathered the storm (and have an awesome and hot woman in my life to force me to have a good time)..... And it was off to the Improv in Los Angeles to watch a show called "the naughty show" hosted by Sam Tripoli.
Let me say this:  When you combine comedy with a stripper flashing her tits and dancing on a pole, and also throw in an appearance by Ron Jeremy, you got yourself a damn good show.
And this night only peaks my continued interest in comics and the art form of comedy.  I do kinda know what its like to talk shit in public, make fun of myself (and others) and write or type my little ass off, but it still amazes me that people get to do this for a living.  Now, of course, there is the stereotype (mostly true by the way) that most comics live in shitholes, and travel around the various shitholes throughout the country to earn just enough money to pay for fast food and a motel 6, but you gotta love the heart in these people.
Of course, on this night, I got to enjoy the exception to the rule.  I got to see what I consider 4 headline comics perform one after another.  Hosted by Sam Tripoli, who everyone should support, kicked off by Margaret Cho, then a high-as-a-motha-fuckin-kite Doug Benson, and capped off by the roast master Jeff Ross.
Oh, and there was the stripper doing some absolutely wondeful things on a pole that I feel that every woman should aspire to do in their lifetimes.
And as if the night couldn't get any better, in comes Ron Jeremy to play a piano, and later proceed to dry hump a woman on the stage.  Bravo to the "Naughty Show".........................support your local comic, people.
Anyway, I guess the moral of the story is this:  Celebrate your birthday no matter what you are going through, because you are just lucky to be on this earth to begin with.
What do ya think a that?

Wow. you saw some great comics. Jeffrey Ross is a fat Jew and funny as hell talking trash roasting other people. He is like your idol. Did you ask him to hang out with you guys after the show? He probably has no friends in LA
