Almost time to vote..............or not.

Well, its that time again.  We are just days away from making that oh so important decision about who should be leading our great land into a greater future (one state representative at a time).  Just one problem...does anything ever really change?
Lets recap 2008.  After 8 years of horrible decisions, terror, war, and clips of silly mistakes during speeches by our wonderful leader, we as a country did such a wonderful job of banding together, believing in a bright future and voting for "change".  Then what happened?  We continue to give our new leader credit for nothing, and continue to blame him for the shitty economy, housing and unemployment that he was handed when he started.
But....great news...we have a chance to flock to the polls, and vote in some more new people in every state to bring about........ "change".......... Isn't that great?  Think of the wonderful possibilities.  Think of what just might happen if we vote in a completely different direction this time. Can you imagine?  Well, I can.................. And do you know what WILL happen?  After months of rich people from two sides of politics finish talking shit about each other and how bad each would be to lead our respective states, we, in the end, will be "stuck" with one of them.
We will wait with great patience as they actually attempt to live up to the hype, decisions, and promises that they made during their amazing campaign trail. And then, a couple years later, we will get together, as a people, and band together...for "change"............And then........we will go through the whole god damn thing all over again..............Im with you George Carlin.  May you rest in peace.
What do ya think a that?
