Every good comic "bombs" now and then...at least I hope so, cause I sucked last night

I've seen enough 'VH1 behind the music' to know that many famous artists of today discussed their times of struggle, hearing "boos" and often not getting what they expected from their performances early on.  Well, i'm hoping some of that shit is true, because it's certainly not easy trying to make complete strangers laugh.  Especially in a room full of aspiring comics.
Anyway, as I go about by 'journey to self expression', I have learned that everything in life takes practice to make better.  Seeing as how I was not born looking like Brad Pitt, or could dunk a ball like Michael Jordan, or even have a 'golden voice' of a homeless man, I knew that my life would be about motivation, sacrifice, and confidence.  Well, at least I have the confidence ( I think ).
So I guess, for me, its back to the drawing board.  Time to pull up the tape and do the old "john Madden" evaluation of myself on the screen.
The most important thing to remember is that I still have time ( and a day job ) to work on my 'craft' and see what comes of it.  It's all about self expression and a willingness to succeed.  Hopefully I got it.  In fact, I think all of us do.  You just gotta be willing to take the hits along the wrong.  I certainly did last night.
