    How many of us can truly say that we stand behind our beliefs, and are willing to die for those beliefs?  Our world is full of real life heroes, and I'm glad that at least some of them are recognized for their accomplishments.
    I guess, in today's society, we tend to forget that heroes are not always those who can dunk a ball, hit a homerun, and have great abs (really, another jersey shore reference, that's right, sums up our society right now).
    Maybe, instead of creating another "reality" TV show promoting bad stereotypes (jersey shore), fake relationships (bachelor), and dancing with the "i want my 15 minutes of fame back", we should instead try following around those among us who bring about change, passion, and equality.
